firefox focus does exactly what a mobile browser should, including blocking ads and trackers https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/focus/
it integrates really well with the full-featured Firefox mobile for times you want to use the history and bookmark and tab sync features. but yeah it blocks ads very effectively, it loads bloated news sites faster than any other browser I've tried, and it gets creepy spyware corporations like google off your back (slightly). it's good
I don't own a smartphone, so I don't really understand what Firefox Focus is about. Can't you just install plugins like uBlock origin on a "normal" Firefox for mobile ?
Oh okay. Kinda like a "private window" on PC Firefox ?
I'm still horrified each time I discover that installing an adblocker isn't a reflex for everybody. x)
@Seipas it does a lot more than private window mode does, but that's the basic concept yeah
