@lleofar Je vois pas la contradiction avec l'avis de @bortzmeyer : cette levée de bouclier est une levée de bouclier individuelle d'individus qui se sentent menacés dans leur «liberté» à en opprimer d'autres.
Je crois pas beaucoup aux «communautés» ou plutôt je crois beaucoup à la liberté et à la responsabilité individuelle. Ce qui les accable d'autant plus. Tous ces gens aux idées nauséabondes sont personnellement responsables de ce qu'ils disent.
Déjà y'a des """"libristes"""" (enfin plutôt open-sourcistes) qui sont libertariens (aka anarcho-capitalistes).
Ensuite même dans les milieux communistes tu retrouves plein de mecs qui vont défendre les classes sociales défavorisées face aux capitalisme mais seront partiellement voire totalement aveugles face au patriarcat, ou au racisme, etc...

I'm afraid they still have many friends though, if I understand https://voat.co/v/programming/comments/812108 correctly. I'm really not sure I do because writing sentences like «you're basically walking into somebody else's house and demanding that they live their life the way you do», I don't see how you can be anything but a «SJW». But apparently those guys can.

@Sylvhem niveau contribution pour Mastodon, concrètement tu t'y prends comment ? Tu te montes une instance dans une VM et tu travailles là-dessus ? Est-ce qu'il y a des précautions particulières à prendre pour tester des trucs qui reposent sur des échanges entre instances ? Est-ce qu'il est possible de fédérer une instance de dev comme ça avec des vraies ? Est-ce qu'il vaut mieux se faire un mini-fediverse avec plusieurs VMs qui font chacune une instance pour tester ce genre de scenarii ?

I've been making my way through #UrsulaKLeGuin books like I said I would. I have to ask, because it came up in "The Compass Rose" and "Very Far Away From Anywhere Else" IIRC. Did she play Viola? It seems strange to pick that instrument twice for someone to play unless she had a particular attachment. I know I'm a shut-in nerd but I've literally never met someone who has played viola. When I was in school, there was violin or cello. I don't know what would have happened if someone wanted to play viola.
I don't even know what happened, it was weird it didn't really slip or anything, it slightly bumped the edge of the table and then next thing I know it was crashed and scattered on the floor. Usually when something falls there's this «time stop» thing when you see everything in slow motion — and you have or don't have the time to catch but at least there's this odd time glitch when you have the time to realise it's going to break. No such thing happened. It was more like a couple reality frames skipped and suddenly it was destroyed.
I broke a glass at the end of the dinner 😞
