@Lapis That sounds just like my dinner friday evening !! Around the table : three japanese people, one who was born and raised in Germany, a friend who's fluent in japanese and currently trying to learn german, her boyfriend and well, my wife and I who can understand and talk a bit japanese and german. The «official» common language for everyone was english but of course this was in France so we spoke a lot of french as well. Oh, yeah, and I spoke a couple words with one of the men from Japan who had worked with a branch in Spain at some point. What an evening :)
