Toying with the idea of doing another song by song toot review of turn out the lights because this album immediately took up space inside me and it's going to be something I listen to for a long time

Also Turn Out the Lights released last night and oh my god this album is something else and I say definitely give it a listen if you can. A lot of Julien Baker's music feels like she's torn pages out of my own life and from this album especially. She's said while her first was mostly about her own struggles, turn out of the lights pulls from the struggles of those around her as well and it really shows and she leaves it on a more hopeful note this time vs 'Go Home'

I'm not terribly heart broken Brand New is going to break up (again) in about 14 months. I just want to see them live one last time before then. You can just feel they're kinda done throughout science fiction, not a bad thing, they've been at it for a while and will probably always be one of my favorite bands

Okay, the $30 fishing dlc (with horrible first person shake cam) for ffxv makes this year feel way more evened out

And Frozen Wilds is out four days later? This year is killing me

No new job leads yet but I got more apps done today and I finally heard back from my old hr, she'll check the status of my last paycheck tomorrow. Tho I think I'm forgetting a lead? I remember I pulled together a different resume but maybe it was more IT than programming? Or maybe it was contract work and I'm always way too nervous to take contract work vs a full-time job cause I dunno if I'm comfortable taking a job were I can't get unemployment if things go south

Seriously good game, guess I'll level my side squad up until I have the extra cash to get it cause I'm more concerned about having enough to pay rent and other bills right now
