@MililaniVF yeah it's not great, i much prefer the alternative, getting how much damage you're actually doing has always been a huge chore in monhun

One weird thing to note is attack values are ridiculously bloated, like my cb had something like 200-300 attack and 300 poison? I was able to poison monsters in a couple hits but wow I was still doing only 16-25 damage according to the numbers it showed. Although the main monsters went down super fast too so Idk

OH I forgot to mention, when the Diablos burst from the ground it revealed a hidden cave system I could drop down into and that it would retreat to if it took enough damage and while fighting it down there it ran into a pillow and parts of it sloughed off, it was rad

It still kicked my ass tho

Wondering if I unlock any extras for the main game if I hunt down the optional monsters, cause beating each quest gives you a pack of items

I also found I'm terrible at fighting the Diablos, tho I guess it doesn't help they give you low armor and that I've never fought it before 😂

And the little arm arrow thing you have is great, you can aim it easily and it makes stuff like poisoning and stunning items super quick to use, no more wasting a sonic bomb cause you miss timed your throw

Ooooh, also you can set certain items to be auto crafted when you have the required items! And gathering in general is such less of a pain in the ass, just pick and go, it's so quick

Think I'll deff stream this if i can somehow manage to snag a copy by late January

Also no more need to carry bug nets and pickaxes anymore! \o/

Shit I didn't even find the Rathalos in the forest map, deff gonna play more of it. The quests are super quick but once you clear them you spawn at any base camp on the map, (oh ye BTW each map has multiple base camps that you can fast travel too) and explore to your hearts content

Given I can even afford it when it comes out 😂

The cowls are so cool, the game looks great (look at that fur render on the cats!), it plays amazing, SOOOO many good quality of life changes it boggled my mind, how is this real
