I can say, while grieving never really stops, it does honestly get a little easier each day. Don't be hard on yourself, give yourself time to breathe, emotional pain is a wound like anything else and takes time to heal. Give yourself a break, cry when you need to, be active when you need to, rest when you need to

Hrmm, maybe would be better if I just did a test stream tonight when I have time and start that playthrough tomorrow with a better time in mind vs "10 to 2am"

I've only seen a bit of Gundam but I remember a scene where a dude had a horse robot and to control it he had an actual fucking horse in his robot so maybe I should watch more of that

Also getting to jam with a cool friend the other day showed me I knew more of the fretboard than I thought I did, it felt pretty cool being able to try different things until I found something that clicked. All that time studying the basics is starting to pay off

Also I think I'm finally getting close to actually being able to play Something by Julien Baker, all that practice is actually starting to show. I just need to start polishing it off and playing the thing in one go

I should make time to actually learn some basic song structure and all that jazz

@TheOtherAMF I haven't, when I was in Astoria GA I got to try Mead, which is usually made from fermented honey and water (and other fruits). Tho I didn't think of trying to make a hot toddy with it, sounds fucking rad tho

@Waldenpond never really been into martinis but that sounds pretty good, specially if it's dark chocolate and bitter as hell

@thefishcrow hrmm, I know there was Bull run, but they got caught lying about something or other so most places don't sell them any more, although I did like their straight bourbon, even tho I never had the money for a full bottle, that shit was 👌👌👌

Really wish I had the cash to try more single malt scotch and small batch bourbons

Guess for now I'll just stick to my Four Roses

I should really try more types of whiskey, I usually default to bourbon still

A hot toddy for those not in the know is a mix of alcohol and tea, recipe I like to use

Little over half a mug of boiling water
Fill rest with choice of whiskey or rum
Honey
Nutmeg
Cinnamon stick
Cloves
Lemon
Plenty of ginger 👌

Although going to that bar has felt weird for the longest time for some fucked up reasons I still want to go. I kinda miss it
