Welcome to my externalised brain, and plan accordingly!

So: Local Surgeon said he's not trained in the specific technique I was hoping for (using a peritoneal section), but *is* willing to meet with me and talk about my wants and needs!

To this end, I have a consult scheduled on the 8th of May.

Yay!

Obviously this isn't going to result in anything concrete in the *immediate* future. But I think it will be worthwhile on two fronts:

1) I have a chance to get a surgeon thinking about the specifics of a future surgery;

2) I have a chance to hear, from the surgeon's perspective, what the challenges might be.

That will really help fine-tune consults with future surgeons.

OK so I think I'm *finally* getting halfway decent at sewing buttonholes? The front is looking fairly neat, and the back is only looking moderately sloppy.

So far, just have half of one of the waistband buttons done. It's OK that it's not perfect; this is a part of my costume no one should, in theory, ever see!

I think the ultrasound treatment I got yesterday is helping?

I just made breks, which involves a fair amount of standing. And my back is not whining at me.

This is good. I wasn't even expecting the ultrasound to help much, but this time 'round? Boom.

Of course I am in the mood for crafting, not "working" today.

At least with my ARMHS worker coming by, I have some dedicated task time. Depending on how productive our session is, maybe I can reward myself with some sewing?

Yesterday I covered a few buttons in fabric. They are destined for my breeches. Those have just 2-3 days' work left, I think?

Right; supposed to snow overnight. But not the 20+ cm forecast the other day; more like ≈10cm now.

Ought to plan ahead & make sure I have all the groceries I need. Besides, there's that resource fair tomorrow I want to get to…

Breks in the oven. ARMHS in 2h.

Need to hygiene.

Need to schedule my labs & call back local surgeon's care coördinator. Dunno if that will lead to a consult or not.

Need to post a thing to local legal group.

And then? Try to make a work plan & structure my time.

Oh, and I could stand a trip to the coöp for a couple staples.
