@senemura I used to have that problem as a performing musician now and then.

My trick: try to fully envision that which I'm nervous about (like performing). Like, a day in advance.

Sort of an internal shakedown cruise.

Obvs I'm no therapist, and I wouldn't want to insert myself into your personal business; but please know, if you ever just need to talk fren to fren, my virtual door is open.

Also, remember; sometimes, meltdowns can be productive. IME it's a little like lightning. A brief flash of violent heat, but one that rebalances things in the process.

Not so fun fact about my instrument of choice:

"viole" is homophonous with "viol" (roughly /vjɔl/), which means "r*pe".

Just sent that request to my doctor.

Hopefully she will be OK just sending a script to my pharmacy without a follow-up visit. I did just see her within the last week and let her know my lumbar spine was causing trouble.

Natively, it would be "viole de jambe". 🙃
