@JacobSKellogg I'm curious about the scriptual basis for this paraphrase. It sounds a bit like the Zen notion of "the beginner's mind". I.e. experience the world with no preconceptions.
@Qwyrdo Mainly from Matthew 18:2-5, after he was asked who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. He references kids in multiple ways in the Bible, and even just in this passage. I think he's intentionally broad, suggesting that there's a lot to be learned from kids, likely including what you mentioned, or something like it.
