So yesterday, right after I put my Moka pot on the stove, I got a call from Local Surgeon's care coördinator.
That was a pretty inopportune moment, what with hot surfaces and being in a shared room (from which sound carries well).
So I scheduled a call at noon today.
Need to think carefully about what to ask: Local Surgeon is new to affirmation surgery & that part of the clinic hasn't even opened yet. (1/)
Affirmation surgery Afficher plus
@Qwyrdo Also, this surgeon *just last week* learned about the existence of nonbinary people.
My therapist was in that meeting. She said his mind was blown, but immediately he started working on a proposal for the brass to review. So he is philosophically on board.
Ofc, most surgeons are. It's getting them from theory to practice that's the problem.
So I doubt I'll be able to schedule surgery. But hopefully, get a consult & get gears turning in people's heads? (2/2)
