@Qwyrdo If you were using a tablet with a keyboard for writing, I'd recommend the app "goodtime". It's a pomodoro timer you can customize, but it cuts your wifi while you have it on work mode. Alternatively... maybe for your browser of choice, find something that cuts distractions? Like when I'm at school I turn on an extension that blocks social media because half my classes want laptops (I wouldn't bring it at all otherwise). mine's a blacklist though. It'd make more sense if you could find sites to whitelist instead.
@Qwyrdo I looked at wikihow for you and the only thing it said that I didn't say was to disable social media notifications and to use an extension to track what sites you're wasting time on (if it were me, I'd waste time on wikihow instead if I were linked, so YOU'RE WELCOME 😉 )
