@benhamill Ouch. I'm not sure I would have had such restraint in that situation. But you're right in that the best approach is *probably* somewhere between an intellectual smackdown & complete inaction.
(I had similar woes with my niece over the holidays; had to try to Say Something without Creating A Scene. Erred on the side of caution.)
@Qwyrdo Yeah. One other factor that pushed me that way is that the workshop provides free(!!!) childcare for the duration. So blowing out the meeting schedule with an argument is really disrespectful to those folks' time. In another context, I might have basically tried to draw aggro and kited him away from others. Not really an option in this case. Ah well.
