Dang.

The Voyager spacecraft have been flying through space for just over 40 years.

*And they are still working*.

And Cassini was in operation for 20??

WOW.

Space is rough, yakno? So any mission functioning even 10+ years is a marvel.

Sure, the Apollo missions started before I was born; but I am *so* a child of the modern Space Age.

So from an olds: don't take space for granted.

Your phones, GPS, hundreds of other things wouldn't work without space technology even older than I.

Please: look up. Admire. Wonder. The Cosmos is vast; we are small. Yet we are doing great things therein!

@Qwyrdo what's even more amazing is that Voyager is outside the solar system and we're *still in touch with it* to the point where we can even send it firmware updates and download data.

That's just incredible.

It's these kind of marvels and growing up on Star Trek that gave me hope that our specie has a chance for something other than a bad ending.
