@nobody Hello and welcome! I'm new here too
Always nice to meet fellow artsy Queer folk, with or without the techy bent. (I used to do Web stuff, myself.)
@nobody It's a looong story, but central plot points involve work environment changes, undiagnosed Autism, & super bad anxiety.
Also, I can't seem to wrap my head completely around OOP, which is de rigeur this day and age? So my skill set is 10 years out of date now.
@nobody Oh... and you're welcome!
@Qwyrdo I would like to be diagnosed autist, I think I am and I have very bad anxiety, I had to quit my previous job because of it.
Now I'm at home and I have enough money to live so that's ok but I like to develop websites for myself so I am doing a new one right now.
What kind of language/framework did you prefer?
@nobody Your sitch sounds not to dissimilar from mine, TBQH!
I got my start in PHP (4.X), did a lot w/ JavaScript & JQuery; been dabbling in Python of late. Also did a fair amount of graphics & usability testing.
Kind of a... Jan(?) of all trades, IYKWIM.
@Qwyrdo Jan(?)?
What do you do now? Always techies things or full other stuff?
@nobody Well I'm not a Jack and not a Jane. Jan maybe is kinda gender-agnostic?
And these days I mostly art and craft and game. The techy is just dabblish atm.
@Qwyrdo Used to, why did you stop?
And thank you
