@spiderrobotpig Am neurotypical and had the same challenge - it was too much of an emotionally exhausting barrage. I decided to take it at face value and always play my cards close to the chest unless I'm in a public space where I'm sure I can win and discredit the ideas being presented.

@DylanEHoover Something I've seen ~the youth~ do on tumblr when faced with a problem like this is write something like
"Concept: Crossover fanfiction of Asriel and Spider Jerusalem in a room together"
and then wait for another writer or every reader's imagination to do the work.

@BrodyBr I highly recommend that you give it a shot - P5 is finally out and it's a masterpiece that's worth a shot. (I got it early and have played all the way through. I'm sure you've seen.) Though the flow is similar, I think that they've found a foothold and handled it in a way that feels more, well, flowing

@BrodyBr Would love to hear about that idea some time! Have you played P4 or P5? I think you will have the same issue but the dungeons are way more dynamic and relevant to the narrative. Tartarus always annoyed me/felt too distinct from my experience in the "real world" of the game [dodges rotten tomatoes]

@ikea_femme Someone I followed on some media a while ago wrote about seeing a beautiful woman on a train who she could read as trans because of her own experience with "tells"- obviously she didn't say anything, but she wrote about how inspiring and beautiful this woman is with her style and confidence - Her writing conveyed power and beauty in that unspoken possibly mutual knowing. It's most certainly not my lane to declare, but I hope that's a compassionate lens to share

@ikea_femme I read my doctor as trans and felt really guilty about it - I found out in passing that she is cisgendered in a very specific, definitive way, and ended up super stoked that it turns out wrong reads are possible so individual perceptions aren't weighed down by so much responsibility and duty.
I realize that's a super individual experience and that I probably am not as skilled of a reader but I hope it helps a little.
