What if we are creating the techno-occult world we all wanted.

Here, now.

Wouldn't it be cool if...

@thegibson @PixelOccult I think we're doing a pretty good job of it, for better or for worse.

It's a working in progress, if nothing else.

@drwho @PixelOccult oh I agree... I was just struck by one of those moments in which I was visited by a thought... maybe a vision.

My mind fired on all poetic cylinders for a few moments.

@PixelOccult @drwho It was in part your work that inspired it.

I still feel it, but at some point the real world will step in and erase the mind... it always happens.

@PixelOccult @drwho Also, you gotta publish that Deck... that thing is awesome.

@PixelOccult @drwho You're killin' me over here.

I had the mage: the Ascension desk back in the nineties, and loved the art. What you are creating reminds me of it in some ways... an alternative that channels creativity.

@thegibson @PixelOccult I used the M:tA deck for many years; I hunted down a second one and put it away so I'd have a spare. Lately I've been using the Homestuck deck.

Hello this conversation is deeply relevant to my interests and also my entire TL please tell me what is going on.

@drwho @PixelOccult @Elucidating I got all inspired. it has passed, but I like what I wrote.

@Elucidating @drwho @PixelOccult I don't know if I'm missing the reference here, or if I'm mildly offended.

:)

This was actually a San Junipero/Black Mirror reference. Or "the only good episode."

@thegibson @drwho @PixelOccult Watch exactly that episode and you've seen every good part.

What you said tho, it reminds me of a friend who's computer lab door was opened with a Tarot card of the Fool with an embedded RFID chip. Just a little rPI in the wall controlling the door circuit.

@drwho @thegibson @PixelOccult it was literally just those rfid stickers.

He had a deck full of them so if you tried to clone it every tag responded. It was a cool hack because that many rfid tags in one place could crash even good hardware at the time with buffer overflows.

@drwho @thegibson @PixelOccult Wow I haven't thought about those rude computer kids for some time.
