I had the mage: the Ascension desk back in the nineties, and loved the art. What you are creating reminds me of it in some ways... an alternative that channels creativity.
@thegibson @PixelOccult I used the M:tA deck for many years; I hunted down a second one and put it away so I'd have a spare. Lately I've been using the Homestuck deck.

What you said tho, it reminds me of a friend who's computer lab door was opened with a Tarot card of the Fool with an embedded RFID chip. Just a little rPI in the wall controlling the door circuit.

He had a deck full of them so if you tried to clone it every tag responded. It was a cool hack because that many rfid tags in one place could crash even good hardware at the time with buffer overflows.
