How did we end up here.
The US is a dystopian hell hole and I could spend hours going on about why, just from that one job at Walmart. Losses reached the employee by cutting hours to the extreme, hiring freezes from corporate when we needed more staff, etc. Check out this steaming pile of legal feces that we have here in the states:

@corzntin I worked for a Walmart for four years and once lost weight because of how little money I had to feed myself with every week. I should have stolen more things from them as an employee, because they stole my quality of life.
That was five years ago. I'm privileged now through my partner and their family, but the scars of poverty will never leave me.
remember: everyone around you crowdfunding for money is a victim of fucking baby boomers, politicians, and rich folks swindling that money away from us.
Giving to people in need in these times is one of the only things you can do that actually makes a difference anymore.
