one thing ive seen a lot on the TL is ppl being sad that they dont know ruby or how to contribute to the codebase

ruby is actually one of the easier programming languages to learn! its a little weird, but very easy to start doing simple things in

i dont have much experience in it myself but there are plenty of good resources out there on the web if you do a little googling

if you are really interested in helping out, there's no reason not to start learning! & its a pretty transferable skill!
