When one of the side effects of the drug you're taking is weight gain but suddenly you're nauseated all the time and losing weight despite the wine bender you've been on since Friday evening

One of the most enjoyable things about fanfic is writing the dialogue of characters you love.

Writing Sera is my favorite. I made her feature much more predominantly in this story just because I wanted to write paragraph diatribes of Sera nonsense bullshit.

I've got four coats of powder-blue nail polish on and I feel pretty

I don't mind the heat but it is so humid today I feel like I am in someone's mouth.

I mean I guess that's what I get for living in the three rivers

@Paperclippe Now I'm just tired. More than tired. Weary. Everything hurts, but only enough to be frustrating, irritating. I can't sleep. I wasn't sleeping even for the week or so that I felt truly good, but then it was because I just had all this energy. Now I don't know. I'm just so tired.

I don't recall ever feeling seriously depressed before taking antidepressants. I have been very sad. I have been in some dark places. But this is different. This is... exhausted. Numb. I hated how I felt when I was on them, but now that I'm off of them, I just feel so... grey. Faded. It's only been two days, and two and a half weeks since I first lowered my dose. For a hot minute I felt so incredible. So alive. I think I might have been manic.

The only good thing about my old medication was that it made all the nerve pain in my joints and back go away and now I am in agony. My right wrist and below my right shoulder are making me feel like Julius Caesar.

There's a time in every writer's life when she sits down and looks at all her work and asks:

Second day on new med. Taking a half dose of what I'll be taking this time next week. I know that it's way too soon to tell but my head feels like it's being crushed. Slowly. It's not painful (not as painful as it could be) there's this horrible storm front in my forehead.

About to take a big leap and put together a writing portfolio to send to a game company.

I am simultaneously terrified and feel like this is the stupidest thing ever. Torn between not caring and caring too much.
