Migraines are butts, yo (and not the sexy kind)

I'm on a huge Lowercase Noises kick lately. I just want to lay on the floor and stare at the ceiling while the light does strange autumnal things and listen to soft ambient sounds and banjo noises and be sad about things I can't name.

Oh my god I am stoned out of my brain on my migraine medication while trying to do the end of week deposit at work

And then this morning I throw out a silly comment about putting on my second cardigan while working at the library - which is a real thing that happens by the way - and other library employees from all over the world chime in like WHAT’S UP SECOND CARDIGAN. Just... fucking amazing. #mastodonmemories

Alright, here’s my contribution to #mastodonmemories. It’s a bit silly but it’s mine: I remember coming in here and interacting with maybe a dozen people and finding folx who loved Dragon Age as much as I did (and do). It made me feel instantly at home.

And then I come on Mastodon and the #mastodonmemories are actually killing me I love you folx I’m so happy to be here

(But I mean the money is Not Bad)

(But I am so tired)

I know it’s just because the holiday is coming up and people are ordering things for Halloween etc and this’ll be the worst time of the year. But I just quit one of three jobs to have more time to write and suddenly I’m working more hours than ever. Admittedly it’s something I do want to be doing in a big way but I also want to... y’know. Write. And sleep. And eat at some point.

So, I’m a baker. I love baking. I wish I could do it as my full-time job.

But I am so tired right now and I’m honestly so mad I had to go in to work tonight. I feel like I might get roped in to going in on Monday night as well which is the only time I really get to see my partner for a whole evening and god damn it I just want to go home.
