I also realized that I've been totally unconsciously referring to myself as "they" lately. Was on birbsite and made a joke about "gesturing to 'their' (read: my) twitter feed." Have done this several times in several scenarios, but that's fresh in my mind.

Does anyone else find doors absolutely horrifying?

Maybe not doors in every day life, like I'm sitting here looking at one right now.

But I write a lot of weird stories, and some of them cross the line into horror, and a good portion of them revolve around... doors. Mysterious doors. Spooky (spoopy) doors.

Doors hide things.

Doors hide possibilities.

And for some reason, this is like the scariest thing in the world to me.

Completely losing my shit about gun violence over on birbsite. I'm so done being nice. I'm just ready to scream and block and scream some more.

Though it is making me feel a bit guilty because a friend is having a bad time today and has sent me like 35 texts and I just cannot deal with them. I responded to 20 over lunch. And her problems are Real Problems and Mine Are Not (this is not pity; mine are In My Head Problems and hers are Happening in the Real World Problems that Affect Her and Others), but I just... cannot appropriately respond. I can read them, and I can understand, but... I'm too tired. I have too few words. I just need the quiet.
