@DarckCrystale I absolutely do. In fact, I was doing it unconsciously as I was rereading the story to check for spelling and things, and as I got to the part where Calla is doing it, I had to make myself stop because it weirded me out so much. (But I think it's a totally normal thing to do.)

@Paperclippe I mean they don't understand why I do that, what kind of calm it brings do me -_- they are just afraid of blood and wound i get from it (like 5% of the time) and want me to stop "hurting myself".

@DarckCrystale Oh heck I do it constantly. Half the time it's chewing, honestly, but I have a bad habit of touching my face and my fingers will just absentmindedly go to my lips and start picking. And you're right, it is very calming.

@Paperclippe I really understood what your character was feeling when they was going crazy because of the tick and they started to use it to calm down (even if I wouldn't do it as far as they does ^^).
