Does anyone else find doors absolutely horrifying?

Maybe not doors in every day life, like I'm sitting here looking at one right now.

But I write a lot of weird stories, and some of them cross the line into horror, and a good portion of them revolve around... doors. Mysterious doors. Spooky (spoopy) doors.

Doors hide things.

Doors hide possibilities.

And for some reason, this is like the scariest thing in the world to me.
