I like Mastodon because I can talk about how/why I like hard games without being afraid that nazis will use it as ammo to attack marginalized people in games.

@feli Well, difficulty is just a tool and can be used well or poorly. I don't mean to say I want all games to be challenging.
But in Cuphead, for example, the difficult not only creates the dramatic tension, but also plays a pretty important role in establishing the frantic tone along with the art and soundtrack.
