Sometimes a confused fax machine calls me by mistake because someone it works with told it I speak Fax. I usually hang up in disgust because this is Alabama and we only speak English, Spanish, German, and several made up nerd languages here, NOT Fax.

Today though, I decided to jokingly transfer the call to my fax machine. OMG, they had a whole conversation you guys. And my fax machine took notes and printed them out! Maybe fax machines aren't so horrible after all. I'm still not learning Fax.

I'm thinking of staying at Jugendgaestehaus Hauptbahnhof, but it's run by the church. They're house rules forbids sexuality based discrimination.

Yet I am cautious. Is there any record/history of this hostel turning away same sex couples? Or not giving them a double bed/etc?

surveillance capitalism amid artificial scarcity seems like a cruel joke. hey check out how much labor we can manage to throw into expanding the police state, haha. we could end poverty, eliminate hunger, house everyone, but the objective we picked instead is *watching you*? you must be kidding.

surveillance capitalism is too silly to be real. it's ridiculous. that's how your company feeds its employees, by watching people? oh that's how every company in your sector stays afloat? and your company health insurance charges me a penalty if i don't give you my biometrics? what a joke.

we can't seriously argue this is of value to anyone. not in a fundamental sense, not in a survival sense. it's preposterous.

The meeting was quite excellent, and I am excited for the next one, which will happen 22-Aug-2017, 19:00, again at Finowstraße 2a, 10247 Berlin-Friedrichshain, (and after that probably every 4th tuesday of the month!).
