Looking stuff up does NOT make you bad at coding.

"Not having to look up stuff" is NOT the benchmark for a good coder, especially as coders have to look up stuff ALL THE TIME!

And I don't mean highly advanced stuff, but stuff like "How does division work again?" or "What's that function called?" or my personal favorite "How to I nest for loops in list comprehensions?".

It's ok if you have to look up stuff!

Create something for no practical purpose such as a song, a poem, an essay, a painting, a drawing, a comic strip, a collage, etc.

What I love about #Mastodon:
1) #Politicians and #celebrities don't use it as a pulpit.
2) Folks don't use to spew #hatred and #violence.
3) I've made more positive connections in the past few months then I've EVER made on #TheBird.
4) #Advertisers aren't beating you over the head with their obnoxious ads or attempting to mine your data six ways from Sunday.
5) It's feels like this is what social media was supposed to be all along; sharing thoughts.

Here's to hoping it stays that way.
