I really hope I get to start working on a video on the Commodore Amiga soon cause fuck I love that machine and don't know why despite being able to talk about it for hours
@nergdron OMG thats amazing -- I technically grew up with Amigas but. I was. 4???
I've fallen in love with them over the last 10 years since my dad pulled out a A500 he stowed away in the attic. I still have it but got a A1200 I upgraded and I keep hyperfocusing on Amiga stuff every couple months 😅 😂
@nergdron I had to put it on hold for finishing my thesis, but I am currently figuring out how to load bitmaps at runtime in a c program. Once I know that, I feel like I can work on a game uwu Thinking about it get's me excited every time
@NBLena NICE! Well, if you ever need code help/review, HMU. I'm so into this stuff. 😄
@nergdron Awesome! I will 🙌
@LottieVixen @NBLena I mean, if you wanna talk about neat obsolete systems, I'm always down. 😉
@nergdron @LottieVixen @NBLena
I had an portable TRS-80, a TI-994A and a Atari 800 when I was younger.
@maritroniuity @LottieVixen @NBLena ooooh Atari 800 was similar to the Amiga 500, except in terms of gfx. there was a lot of crossover dev until Atari died. and the TRS-80 is legendary for being crazy programmable! nice nice stuff!
@nergdron @maritroniuity @LottieVixen @NBLena If I was in a Rat Shack where those were being sold, I'd often write a quick BASIC program to display something interesting-ish on the screen. (resumes driving)
@NBLena OH OH OH OH I grew up with Amigas and I love them so much and HAM modes are still my favourite video hack of all time and we should talk!!!!!!
