@lifning I didn't know he would argue with this, so I initially proposed it as a gender neutral generic pronoun I prefer to use in my writing, cause it's more elegant.
I. I don't want to out myself to him, but IF I did I could make the case that some of the subjects, as I participated myself, were non-binary. That would sure show 'em.

@NBLena ugh the apa is so awful on this.. apparently they support it only in "the context of gender diversity." like trans people only exist when you're talking specifically about trans people, and they just get erased when you're talking about anything else.
