Desperately hoping the additional snow and 45mph winds get me out of work tomorrow bc I've aged 35 years this week

Customer holding a teabag by the string said "can I take this out so it doesn't get too strong?" and in the moment I couldn't think of a polite way to say "the bin is eighteen inches away just move that woman and tadah" so I panicked and just held out my hand

and she unblinkingly dropped her freshly boiled teabag into my hand and I had to pretend that it wasn't leaking boiling water onto my naked flesh

Why am I so bad at conversation

They want to "shoot all of 'em, not worth the air they're breathing" which is uh, not the nicest thing I've ever heard about our patrons but what can you do but keep your Customer Service Face on and make silly comments about giraffes, ahaha :)

When you get a Very Worrying Customer and all you can do is go "ahaha :)" instead of "Jesus fuck you need counselling and therapy"
