Anyway that's what I'm doing in the ice-cold garage at night with all these withies, Mum.

My muse is not a delicate goddess of spun sunlight who wakes me at dawn with visions of a splendour only I can create but a little goblin jabbing me in the side with a hot glue stick and yelling "sleep is for the weak!! gotta be now!!" just as I start to wind down for the evening.

He was very pleased with his cake and thought the faceted gems were lovely, and then everything melted because I put 23 lit candles on it and he's still laughing in delight at it.

I've been covered with edible glitter for two days now, BAKING IS HARD

carnivores are fucking weird, I've just seen one posting on Facebook that they'll block anyone who likes their steak cooked beyond a certain point

and I'm omnivorous as fuck but like... if someone wants their meat cooked differently to how I do, and they're capable of making their own decisions then that's fine??? Just because you have a Thing about food doesn't mean everyone does?
