@shad yup! I got my first piercings at ten after asking my Mummy, and although it was painful it wasn't bad because it was something I wanted at the time, and it was a sign of being Very Grown Up. If she'd got them done for me when I was a baby, I'd have been royally pissed once I was old enough to understand!

Plus you're right, most professional piercers won't do kids so it's usually an unsterilised jeweller's shop floor.

like why is it so incredibly vital that people know this baby is a girl? it's not medically necessary, it's not something she's asked for or even agreed to, you're modifying her body for aesthetics without the permission of the owner of the body because she's two months old! she's not inside you any more, she's a person now!

why is it so important that strangers know at first glance instead of waiting for them to ask or correcting them when they guess wrong

a young mum on social media asking about piercing her baby's ears is being overwhelmingly told "hell yeah do it!"

her reason is because people keep mistaking her daughter for a son

does it bother your two-month old infant to be called a boy? is it upsetting the baby? why is it so desperately important to you that strangers know what genitals your two-month old baby has?

also, she is two month old. she won't understand why she was in a scary room with a stranger and then there was agony and then it ached for three weeks. if it was medicinal sure, if it was a vaccine for her own good then hell yeah, but it's cosmetic???

Folks I have just discovered the holy grail of removing hair due from skin and it's toothpaste

Just plop some toothpaste and a little water on an old toothbrush and scrub

One round of that has cleared up more than three rounds of exfoliatey sponge did and I no longer look like a mooshroom

(I mean you can still see the dye residue a bit but I feel like one more round in the morning should get rid of most of it)

@envgen long bit is still black, short bit (and scalp and ear and neck) is Red Passion which always looks spectacularly crap at night so it'll be a surprise in the morning!

Also someone remind me to take pics of the hair and the resin once the sun comes back tomorrow!
