@Sylvhem Mmm we mostly draw the same stuff, pokemon, usually! It could be envy too, but like, it's less a gulf in quality and more a gulf in popularity, I feel like sometimes I have to constantly be mashing my stuff in people's faces when other people just seem to get that passively

@Sylvhem I think it's just a feedback thing but like when my friends post art n stuff on twitter they get a ton more notes etc than I do even when I pour my heart out into something and even when it's pokemon I just barely get a few likes and maybe 1/2 rts and I don't want to scream at my followers to just *reblog/rt* my stuff because it feels like I'm begging for attention at that point

like when Im streaming with other people 99% of the attention goes to them and nobody even glances my way and the same basically goes for whenever I post on twitter, nobody fuckin looks at my stuff

I *love* being blown off completely in my own multistreams.

this goes like triple if you're popular too by the way cause you'll low key brigade ppl against that other person. it's Bad. don't do it. and just in general the best example I can think of is like, coming down on DBZ because it's too shallow and overpowered and honestly ppl aren't really looking for a deep story there?

a hot writing take just from looking at my ad - all representation aside not all writing is going to be tailored to your liking, especially if it's a kid doing the writing. I am still steamed about that but like if you're 2x years old and looking at some teen's writing and going "ha this is horrible" then boy howdy I've got news for you.

Since we're talking about story preferences here, I like stories where the characters find themselves, tbh. That seems to also bleed into the kind of characters I create, since Melissa mostly only has a vague idea of what she wants to do for example
