#introductions now seems like a good time to re-introduce myself

I'm a trans lesbian, anarcho-communist, radfem, goth, and game artist.

I'm super into creative writing, essays, creating multimedia art in general, art/media analysis/appreciation/critique, exploration of aesthetics, deconstructive philosophy, and game design theory.

4 years of schooling, almost graduated. I'd consider myself an indie game artist, and plan to transition into a bigger focus on game design.

As far as gothness goes, I'm more into gothic punk, dark fantasy, vampire fiction, and am still sorta into rivethead culture. Uhhh also I make a lot of srs and a lot of silly posts

I really don't have a reason to make a case for this because music subgenres are arbitrary. Though, there was a certain collection of artists working on a similar sort of sound, with a similar stylistic origin. Tiamat, The Gathering, Katatonia, Anathema, and several other bands were all born from extreme metal sounds, and pioneered death doom metal and gothic metal, and would all go on to creating a niche called atmospheric rock, or doom rock. They all sort of mellowed out and went for more melancholy alternative rock with more doom and ambient influences. It has a unique sound to it, and I recommend checking out those artists non-metal works

I am medicated again thanks to my dad helping me out. I also took a beta blocker earlier. So I am extremely relaxed. Uhhhh also side post, if you don't know what to call it besides marijuana now that its controversy is relevant, my favorite alternatives are as follows:

different ways of saying weed evokes different moods and fill different roles

weed = the standard, basic way of saying this. it's the laymans slang. appropriate for social media.

cannabis = the scientifically proper term

the devils lettuce = can be informal and goofy

wacky tobaccy = WARNING, this is the best informal slang, but also a Toby Kieth song

I think I like Praxidike and Nemesis more than Dike, because Dike is also representative of societal norms, which... does not have that great of an implication. Dike is not in service to the people, but to authority. Praxidike is representative of the collective progress done more than Dike is.

now that i think about it, i should probably look into which deities im most compatible with. I always assumed I'd be a worshiper of Praxidike or Nemesis. But there's a lot more than just that, and both of these deities are more.. niche? Both represent retributive justice, though Nemesis seems to be more focused on personal vengeance, and Praxidike representing the social praxis of retribution.

okay my dealer finally got back with me. he doesnt seem annoyed at me. i really think he did just get swamped, and is going to come sunday. I can hold out. I may ask my dad for a little bit to hold me over but talking to him sucks because he's a SEXIST PIG

im cracking at the seams, and at the time where i most need to self-medicate, my dealer has been letting me down day after day. My anxiety is at an all time high for this year right now. I can't even think because my head is spinning and I've had shortness of breath for hours.
