#introductions now seems like a good time to re-introduce myself

I'm a trans lesbian, anarcho-communist, radfem, goth, and game artist.

I'm super into creative writing, essays, creating multimedia art in general, art/media analysis/appreciation/critique, exploration of aesthetics, deconstructive philosophy, and game design theory.

4 years of schooling, almost graduated. I'd consider myself an indie game artist, and plan to transition into a bigger focus on game design.

As far as gothness goes, I'm more into gothic punk, dark fantasy, vampire fiction, and am still sorta into rivethead culture. Uhhh also I make a lot of srs and a lot of silly posts

Does anyone know a live streaming service with better policy than Twitch? I wanna hit up that stream life but also not have to use the worst and most questionable tools for the job.

I haven't posted much about home stress that much because I feel like I'm more in control and like there are less problems. A bit ironic considering the past few months my mom had a medical emergency and has been through the process of getting healthy on sick leave. Last week she did hemorrhoid removal surgery and we've all been assisting her to get better. She's been nicer lately and has been listening to us more, but still not quite enough. I at least don't feel as bad about myself. She's even been a bit supportive. I feel like I have space and she's at least trying. I just hope she doesn't revert back to nastiness.

I kind of hate how my radicalization dramatically tore down my view of all things in my life. I've been slowly building things back up. I can't think about my college the same way ever again, and now my career is going to be dramatically different. Part of me still wants to just seek work at AAA game studios, but I really don't want contribute to it.

It's so difficult to rectify the differences between my ideal self and my current self. progress on everything is so slow
