The Longest Journey sets up the perfect mood for an atmospheric casual and more social sort of cyberpunk future setting and kind of ignores it for most of the game, which is sort of disappointing. It had such a perfectly strong start, then it sort of just continues the rest of the game somewhere else, with a few parts still being in the cyberpunk city setting.

Every NPC in The Longest Journey has really convincing political opinions. It's so refreshing to see, that the first time I noticed it, I thought it was some sort of gag, bu no. They put a lot of thought into all of the dialogue, even with minor NPCs.
