I used to hate drag, but now that I think about it, I'm more mad at a specific wave or mentality of drag that I associate with people like RuPaul. My brother and partner both had to like beg me to watch RuPauls Drag Race, and I finally appreciated it, but I don't appreciate Ru. They have some really great people that they brought on the show, including some really nice trans people. People who had to hide it during the competition, because Ru is transphobic.

ok so like, Lacuna Coil is basically a problematic fave of mine that at one point wasn't

In the earlier days they were a goth band doing music very similar to The Gathering, they were still trying to hit their stride, and they finally did it with Unleashed Memories imo.

Then they released Comalies, my favorite of theirs, and their most overwhelmingly popular among goths in the 00's.

Then after that, they went in a nu-metal direction after the vocalist started dating a member of Slipknot, and now they're married, and their music just isn't good anymore. But I liked Karmacode, that one was ok.

One disappointing thing in my life that I won't forget is when I helped a pigeon that was wounded and called animal control, only to laugh off my request. I then safely moved the pigeon away from the hazard, it was trapped in a corner outside the store, was blinded by debris, and couldn't fly because of the blindness. They are living creatures and shouldn't be treated like pests even if they are a public annoyance sometimes.
