I don’t really want to argue here on Mastadon.

That’s weird. I’m usually very quick to argue. (I’m not in any way saying that’s a good trait, it probably isn’t)

It’s just I like how nice the people I’ve followed and interacted so far with here are.

I don’t want to replace those interactions with the Mastadon equivalent of outrage tweeting.

Mastodon is very much not like twitter a lot of the time, especially in certain instances with a different community attitude. you can engage with people in good faith, so it doesn't have to be an 'argument' in the typical sense. its usually not ever a fight. Just, if they're a mutual, assume they like you and don't want to have an ugly fight with you and are willing to listen to your points.

@Mirzaba I’ll do my best.

I also worry that I’ll bring bad habits here. I have a personal history of being very argumentative, though I believe I’ve improved over time. Everything has been so nice here so far! I don’t want to ruin it! 😁

What brought this on was that I just had an interaction with someone that felt hostile, but then I find myself asking if it really was, or if maybe I was initially hostile withthout meaning to be.
