electro-industrial also isn't necessarily free from the problems of 1st wave, even though by the time the 1st wave was all but dead, electro-industrial was comparatively revolutionary, dense in complexity, and challenging. An easy thing to do is listen to the chronological discog of Skinny Puppy or Front Line Assembly.
