@naman Thought of it (and Simpsons of course) but I don't think it'll be her cup of tea, unfortunately. She's very picky about her cartoons.

@GinnyMcQueen I want to send you some money, but TBH I agree with your rant a few weeks back that you shouldn't be forced to pose just to live your life. Freedom is at the base of every person's desire for good reasons. (Where can I send you $10 where fees you incur will be minimal? You don't have a BTC wallet, do you?)

@TapiOh Agree it's frustrating though. I understand why to an extent, but I feel like open discussion would foster a better conversation around the game in the right circumstances.

@naman It's really something else, especially for the time period. Give it a shot if you ever get the chance.

@TapiOh I think it's because they are still not quite done throwing around big changes/ideas. The big team size change surprised me. Interested to see what else changes between now and launch.

@naman Did you ever play Base Wars? That was my favorite of the NES baseball games.

Unfortunately we are finally running out of episodes she hasn't already seen multiple times. Wish there was something else as pop-culture-packed that jived with her sense of humor.

It's just a great excuse to bond over media, and it's really fun to show and explain the references. (As a former NJ resident though, showing her Jersey Shore clips was...embarrassing.)

GF is Chinese, only recently moved to America 6 years ago, and loves South Park. So do I, now at least. Was always amused but it is so great now to watch it with her, then show her the movie/TV show etc. they are referencing in any given episode.

When Senketsu gets shredded into a million pieces, all I could think of was "I'm so glad this is a modern anime, or this'd be the justification for 300+ episodes."

Also, what a great freakin' anime. I'm sorry that the hype drove me away when it came out.

No weed for 4-20, but it's likely snowing today with a chance of side whiskey. ❄

Feel genuinely bad for Syrian and Teddy Bear hamsters raised in America, everything here is sized for Dwarf hamsters and I suspect most of them are way too cramped in their homes.

New new cage selected for the hamster after much debate with the GF. Think she will like this one. We'll see.
