I think that's why I kind of get upset at people that buy games that hate the female audience, with women as a stretch goal, etc. They don't have to put women in it, you'll buy it anyways. It give a little credence to not putting women in things. :<
It's also why I'm giving "My Time at Portia" a big side-eye. There's a sole dude on the cover which screams to me, "We don't care about you!" While the Harvest Moon games have had the girl on the cover if she's playable for a while now.
