As a sort of general life update, I'm spending the next week in Georgia with my fiance and her family to celebrate some good 'ol holiday cheer before flying back up to Wisconsin to spend the rest of the month in my home town.
...In all honesty, I'm looking forward to the rest of this week much more than the rest of the month.

I acquired Paint Tool Sai and immediately made some cheesy pixel art of myself to practice
Cons:
> Ow legs hurt
> Everyone is exhausted and slowly reaching the end of their rope
> Fast food isn't actually that good
> Taking a bathroom break once an hour sounds like a good deal but 14 bathroom breaks is a LOT
> Car naps are awful and destroy your neck :(
Pros:
> Extended road-trip comradery that only comes from being trapped in a vehicle for a long time
> Slowly watching the batteries drain until everyone is stuck reading or napping
> The napping getting more frequent as it becomes too dark to read
> An excuse to eat at a bunch of fast food restaurants/pray at the altar of capitalism
