@bea I think my favorite part of it is the Fallout New Vegas-style character growth system. It's nice to play something where I can map out character progression well in advance.

Also, you know, it just feels great to play. I haven't had this much roguelike fun since Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup

@MariBari i keep playing for too long then getting careless and dying 😩

@bea I'm having loads of deaths in the early game, as expected. I can't even get through the rust caves to the east of Joppa because one or two Slugsnouts will spawn and insta-murder me 😭

@MariBari yeah you will have to be devious to deal with them or go back when you're stronger! it was a slugsnout that ended my last run, at level 9 no less!

it was after the rust wells tho. i had fought them before in that run and been ok but i wasn't paying attention and moved a bunch while one was shooting me and not my minion :c
