Want people to play games with who won't just play while you're not around, venture far away to build their own isolated house, and wiki everything to make all the perfect choices and build everything to the best blueprint.
These friends are sucking the fun out of games for me.
@Fenreliania I get this a lot with Minecraft-- I'm the kind of person who always goes into Creative mode to build a pretty house before doing anything else, always RPs and goofs around with the other players, and refuses to go for maximum-efficiency mod setups.
So I get very grumpy when people say I'm playing the game wrong by not optimizing my setup for everything. That's boring, and exhausting, and... decidedly not a fun way to play games? Like, even with MMOs and competitive games I never feel like pushing to be THE BEST is the most enjoyable way to play a game, ya know? Why force myself when I have more fun just enjoying the game at my own pace?
