Just a thing that irritated me last night and I can't get out of my head this morning: CWs are not tags. They are not to increase the number of viewers of a post - they don't act that way. They are to protect the reader.

Sometimes I might CW something in a way that you feel is an overreaction, but I do it so that people sensitive to that stuff (even if only temporarily) don't read it. If I see that the thing goes even near contentious territory and my brain is working properly, it will get a cw for that.

I've still been high < 10 times total (I think it's pretty close to < 5 times? just hard to be completely accurate as it's been a decade or so since I first tried).

Our ship was ambushed by harpies, so we went to their island and looted their nest.

Eating their scraps was a litter of hellhounds.

Larissa finally found some half-demon half-creatures like her. It was love at first sight. She eventually succeeded in intimidating one to follow her and eat her scraps. It was a match made in - well, hell - and the rest of the party finally began to have misgivings.

We timed our next trip into a town so that we wouldn't pig out in town.

Only, Fodel betrayed us and went to enlist the help of the temple of Sylvanas in changing back.

Long story short, he died, the temple burned, a bunch of townspeople were changed into pigmen.

At some point the GM had us turn into pigmen.

I immediately embraced it, because it was strength and resilience in a package. My party... not so much. The first night they turned, they were unable to resist the bloodlust, and woke up in a puddle of blood as they'd massacred some nearby travellers. I was sitting nearby eating popcorn - for once, they felt like the monsters and couldn't blame it on me (well, only I bit one of them on purpose after I turned, so it was technically my fault).
