Just a thing that irritated me last night and I can't get out of my head this morning: CWs are not tags. They are not to increase the number of viewers of a post - they don't act that way. They are to protect the reader.

Sometimes I might CW something in a way that you feel is an overreaction, but I do it so that people sensitive to that stuff (even if only temporarily) don't read it. If I see that the thing goes even near contentious territory and my brain is working properly, it will get a cw for that.

At some point I was killing things and the party left me. They ran into a group of chickens (cockatrices) that nearly killed all of them. When I caught up I killed them all in 2 rounds and did NOT let them live it down.

We once were trying to set up in a new town and the local innkeeper was hella racist and would not stop following me around with sage.

Fodel tried to leave us in a fight once and I used intimidation to make the people fighting me chase him down.

I developed a bit of a fetish for killing things I'd never killed before. A dude in a bar told me about a chimera out in teh woods somewhere so I dragged the party out to hunt it down.

I killed it and had it taxidermied. In one of our "I have no idea how our house caught on fire" escapades, I waded into a burning building to rescue the taxidermied chimera.

So some stuff happened plotwise, like we might've empowered a major demon (or maybe a devil, we didn't ask) to take over a local duchy, but mostly, I had a great time over the next few weeks.

Some highlights:
Fodel's pet died again so he left on a journey to find a new one without leaving a note. I realized what he was doing, wrestled a wolf to the ground, and then kept him in a cage until the ranger got back. The ranger had been unsuccessful finding a good pet and just had a goat, and I did not hold back rubbing his face in the fact that I was better at getting pets than he was.

So in the first several towns, for whatever reason, wherever we were staying caught fire. TOTALLY not our fault.

However, we soon had responsibility thrust upon us in the form of a few dinosaur eggs that we TOTALLY had to raise to be our pet dinosaurs.

Fortunately, if you give someone (an NPC) the job of keeping all of your loot and empower them to spend it in any reasonable manner to keep themselves and the loot in good shape, they take that job VERY seriously (it's a lot of money for a peasant), so we developed a loyal follower very quickly.

The first large town outside of the city, we pooled our money and bought some things.

1) a donkey with barding to carry our loot. This donkey became known as the "battle donkey" because I collected anything even vaguely axe shaped as invaluable and so this donkey became overburdened with axes.

2) a donkey+cart to carry a barrel of ale. This became known as the "ale wagon", and the first stop in any town we'd encounter from there on out was refilling the ale wagon.

Larissa respected Anton as the brains of the operation. Anton appreciated that my (Larissa's) undying loyalty meant that the group would go with his plans, even when they were utterly ridiculous.

We became travelling "insurance" salesmen (I always wanted to become a travelling circus, and even bought a bunch of livestock to do so, but the group thought that was ridiculous).

Surprisingly, my bar crew came with me when I left the city.

We had Anton, a clever rogue always up for a risky gambit (but also the first to turn tail and run).

We had Lea, a monk devoted to keeping everyone around her healthy.

We had Gerald, a fighter whose gimmick was we always made him pay orphans for information (so he had quite a loyal following of orphans). He got spooked when we left town and started seeing ghosts everywhere - but the rest of us knew ghosts didn't exist.

And eventually Fodel, a ranger who couldn't keep his pets alive (and who used to be the bartender who was no longer with us).

In a mysterious move, the GM had Kradok get arrested at the same time, and Kradok proposed we break out of jail together.

Never one to say no to a fight, I took him up on it. The bartender died in the ensuing carnage, but together, Kradok and I killed > 20 guards.

Only I was smart enough to see the writing on the wall and realize we needed to gtfo (the campaign was now well and truly off the rails).

The campaign started in a city - we were low-level mobsters, meant to be doing mobster stuff

We mostly worked out of a speakeasy. Larissa worked door - she was muscle that could pass as a shopkeep.

I lived a relatively simple life - I had my job ambitions, some leftover finery from my noble past, and a half-orc (barb) fuckbuddy named Kradok (NPC, awk)

Ultimately, I and the bartender got arrested in a minor mixup (scuffling with a different gang).

since I've had a couple replies I should mention - I still think physical therapy will help, and am still planning to talk to my physical therapist.

I just really hadn't considered blaming my boobs.

then I guess I realized that since I lost weight, the only way my boobs rest on my stomach when sitting is if I have a really crooked posture. I'm used to them resting on my stomach, and while it's not... support, the alternative is supporting all of their weight with my shoulders - so basically, now I'm in a "slouch (badly), or keep muscle tension in back" dilemma, whereas before I stuck with "slouch (slightly), and let boobs rest on stomach"

so... I guess here's hoping bralettes help a lot?
