But when you talk about him, PLEASE be mindful of the language you use and the thoughts you betray that might negatively impact the living disabled people in your lives.

but the next few days are going to be a lot of abled people talking about how much he's accomplished in spite of his disability and basically using a lot of insensitive language and betraying some really ableist thought processes. I think it's ALSO okay for people who've experienced ableism recently to be pre-emptively bitter about that BS and call it out.
