@alice @Maenad So I only recently learned that the current meritocratic education system is designed to keep people from learning and advancing. It’s a gauntlet that prevents people from gaining access to education.
If you don’t get good grades (i.e. if you are deem to not have enough merit) you are refused access.
And we blame ourselves for being rejected!
