well meaning friends keep linking me superior knee scooter/crutch alternatives but they're all > $150 and honestly, between copays, taxis, and moving expenses, I am so far in the red this month that even the thought of it is really uncomfortable (literally just spend $10 on yarn and feel so guilty)
