LB: I trust my admins, but I would not want them to have my personal info, even for ICE reasons. In general, I think the fediverse puts too much trust in admins - reducing privacy between user and admin can have disastrous consequences, even if it's useful in a few emergencies. Admins can go bad - I once did (on a different network, as a result of harassment).
@dconley yeah I may pick one fediverse member and give them an info dump. But I'd want that person to say "I called the hospital and she's not there, nor have i seen anything in her local police blotter, so *shrug*
@Maenad
Be an admin yourself and host.
@anmol this isn't ragging on any specific admins (except me), just expressing discomfort with some recent feature suggestions, so I'm not 100% sure how that suggestion helps anything?
@Maenad yeah same, also wouldn’t want it to be mandatory at all.
I have irl emergency MH plans in place to keep me safe, I’d honestly much as I love my pals here and respect my admins do not want folks here involved in my emergency stuff (partly out of not wanting to put that pressure on them and knowing I can lash out with poor MH)
I have issues with paranoia at times, everyone seeing my irl name ect is just. No. Would make my MH worse rather than help me.

@Maenad The ICE stuff wasn't necessarily to tell admins, but *someone* that you trust.
And I agree, I was... not super comfortable with the degree of information that was publicly accessible.
