I feel selfish when I say I loved Natalie, because I think we all did.
It was easy for me to call her cute, because that was her energy. Her unabashed way of being herself, her passion for the things she cared about, her love for the people around her; these made interacting with her a joy.
But the truth is, she was beautiful. Even now, the effect she's had on the people who knew her is beautiful.
I am a better person for having known her. I wish I knew her longer.
